FANTASTIC VOYAGE:
USING HYPNOSIS TO CONNECT MIND AND BODY FOR HEALING
Hypnosis is a wonderful modality from which to “re-member” the unity of mind and body. Taking patients on a “fantastic voyage” is empowering. Trance allows insights and intuition the freedom to inform participants of the way that emotional issues can get stuck in target organs. Once the “truth” is acknowledged, healing energy can be released. Come and find out!

USING PAST-LIFE REGRESSIONS IN CLINICAL WORK
.....................................Deborah Goleman Wolf, Ph.D.
Past life regressions can be a powerful tool for accessing information and experiences that the conscious mind doesn't want to reveal but can be very important in healing and integration. If you are "someone else in another life" you can be freer to explore trauma, relationship issues, blocks to moving forward, issues of shame or guilt or just enjoy being relaxed and seeing what is revealed. The material can then be discussed in a therapeutic setting.
This technique was initially widely used with trauma victims and expanded to those with other issues.
We will briefly touch on some of the literature and then experience a group regression and discussion.
Sunday, April 22nd
1 PM to 3 PM
One Fifth avenue, Apt 2D
New York City
This seminar is free for NYSEPH members.
There is a charge of $25 for non-members.
Deborah Goleman Wolf, Ph.D. is a Board member of NYSEPH. Over the past 15 years, she has conducted over 1,200 past life regressions both individually and in small groups. She did this work for a number of years with people with life-challenging illnesses and those who were dying. She later expanded it to those with phobias, traumas, relationship issues, and psychological blocks

HOW TO INTEGRATE RATIONAL EMOTIVE COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (RECBT) WITH HYPNOSIS
It is a common believe that Rational Emotive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (RECBT) and the practice of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy are mutually exclusive. In reality they present many overlaps. Both theories incorporate several concepts that can be easily integrated in both practices. This seminar will cover the main principles of RECBT and Ericksonian Hypnosis. It will also focus on the two techiniques in ways that will encourage professionals to integrate and use both approaches in their own professional practice.
May 2012
Time and Place will be announced shortly.
